Room adorned with antique fixtures offered a unique charm, but tight parking and rowdy locals disturbed the night. Enjoyed a delicious meal at the Japanese restaurant located in the hotel.

The room was large and unique and with the bedroom and a comfortable bed, as for instance, had everything I needed. It had great and beautiful location a short way from Arcata Artisans.

Loved the charm and character; it felt historic and unique! Plus, the street parking was sorted without a hitch!
No air-con, just charmingly loud trucks and drunks serenading outside.

We have spent 1 day in a double room with a comfortable bed and the bedroom, as example. The hotel's position was great and stunning, short walk to nearly deserted beaches and dunes, forest, and the downtown continuing to improve. There was an attached restaurant nearby.

It was clean, staff was really helpful and excellent. Loved the good-sized room with comfy beds. This accommodation had a central setting right on the plaza in downtown Arcata. Besides, the hotel was not very far from Royal William Yard. The food was good, amazing.
The staff was very unfriendly.

The hotel's charm is undeniable, with high ceilings and vintage decor, especially the clawfoot tub, creating a unique experience. The street noise was disruptive, and the uncomfortable bed made it difficult to sleep. The location is superb, but updates are definitely needed.

Great location with lovely historic charm, but Wi-Fi was spotty and TV options lacking.

Charming historic decor throughout the hotel.
I noticed the hotel had a strong odor that wasn't very pleasant. The cable TV in my room failed to work, frustrating, as I had hoped to unwind with some entertainment. The staff were not particularly helpful. They seemed disinterested.

Historic charm, cozy atmosphere with antique fixtures. The windows let in too much noise, especially from sirens and trucks.

We had a great stay at this charming hotel, enjoying the beautiful crown moldings and the surprisingly early check-in. The lovely breeze from the open windows was perfect for relaxation after a long day, and the fun vibes around the plaza were an added bonus. Just a heads up, it can get a bit noisy with the celebrations outside, but it didn't take away from our experience. 😊

Had a blast with friends! The vintage vibe was cool, and we really enjoyed the sushi restaurant in the lobby. Exploring the plaza and catching a concert nearby was definitely a highlight. Note that it can get a bit noisy at night, so being prepared is key.

The vintage vibe here is charming, really drags you into a cozy past with crown moldings and period decor. Located right on the plaza, makes it easy to dive into the local scene with eclectic restaurants and some lively characters wandering around.
The noise can be relentless. Trucks, sirens, and revelers outside make for a challenging night's sleep. The bathroom fixtures are dated, with some needing an update-might not be everyone's cup of tea. Breakfast could use a more thoughtful selection. Bagels and yogurt don't quite cut it for those looking for something substantial to kick off the day.
